My 1952 M38A1 was my grandfather's .then my dad's and about 15 years ago bemcae mine. She has about 37,000 original miles. I learned to drive in her. Both the Jeep and myself were born the same year. We just call her The Old Jeep. Simple and clear and respectful .She starts up most of the time, runs great and now each of my 4 sons has learned to drive on her too. She is a member of the family.
